What is Intelligence?


In our day to day conversation we often comment that a particular individual is intelligent or he/she is not intelligent at all. All we do are our mere observations of the performance or the behaviour of the individual.

Intelligence in psychology is general mental ability involved in calculating, reasoning, perceiving relationships and analogies,learning quickly, storing and retrieving information, using language fluently, classifying, generalizing and adjusting to new situations.
